CLARTE developed a peripheral of Virtual reality allowing a visualization in relief on a double screen.

Small equipment allowing an immersion of very good level, low costs, the WORKBENCH is a Display facilitating work on virtual model scale 1 of low-size equipment (Volume including equivalent with a cube of 1M of edge).

Constituted of two perpendicular screens, of which one, horizontal, is located approximately at 1meter ground, the workbench can be regarded as the " drawing board " of the draftsman of today. Wwith an optical device of alignment based on two cameras, it also allows any work of precision on a virtual prototype for functions of formation or drive the technical epic. Other applications of virtual reality leaned with this display are under development within CLARTE.

Device allowing a total immersion in the virtual environment, the SASCube, the first immersif space transportable of this type in France is a display dedicated to work on the virtual model on scale 1.

The manipulator is inside, in the middle of the virtual environment 3D, completely immersed thanks to the stereoscopic vision. The projected images evolve according to the movements of the manipulators thanks to a system of alignment from the point of view, offering the feeling to move in a universe governed by the manipulator placed in the middle of the image.

This device of virtual reality offers possibilities of realistic and interactive visualization thus, particulary in the field of the simulation of environments.
